SUMMARY : |
Wow. Can't remember if I've fished this river at the exact time of high tide before, because
today I was quite surprised at how high the water got. In fact, the river rose so much that I
did not realize that I ended up being semi-stranded on an island as water completely surrounded
me. Luckily it wasn't that deep on the "land" side or I would have had to wait for the tide to
go out before I could go home.
Success was only so-so for the amount of time I put in and the small sizes of the fish. The two
hours after high tide are my favorite and I simply didn't have the time tonight to fish
beyond 10.
