Some doofus fishing next to me last week told me that he routinely caught stripers in all
tides here in the river, including dead low, and even though I was extremely doubtful, I
couldn't say for sure that he was wrong since I had never fished the river before at low tide.
Well, let me tell you, I can now say for certain that when it comes to fishing the South River,
you can forget about it two hours before (and likely two hours after) low tide.
Zip - Nada - Nothing. Not that I was too surprised by all this, mind you.
