Had to change things up today to get fish on. Tried a variety of lures and casted a whole
lot of times in punishing conditions. It's amazing how cold 47° feels like when it's
blowing right at you at a sustained 13 mph with gusts to near 20. Strong storm over the weekend
was pulling away and dropping temps on the backside. Picked up the first pickerel of the season
and took another decent bass. It's been a real good start to the freshwater bass season thus far.
