Rinse Again
Dry
Re-attach To Rod


At The End Of Each Season
Strip Off Line
Wash Exterior Of Reel
Rinse
Wipe Dry With Cloth
Set Reel To Dry

Oil Reservoir Ports
Oil Clicker Assembly
Oil Drag Knob
Oil Level-Wind Worm Gear (if applicable)
Oil Bar Arm Pivots and Rollers (if applicable)
Oil Reel Handle
Spray Exterior With WD-40
Store

Wipe Off Excess WD-40
Replenish Line
Set Drag


Major Overhaul
Remove Handle
Remove Cover (spin)
Remove Side Plates (casting)
Remove Gear Housing Plates
Remove Old Lube From Main Gearing
Inspect Drive Gear Teeth
Replace or Re-pack As Necessary
Re-lube Drive Gear Teeth
Remove Bearing Sleeve and Bearings
Inspect Bearings
Replace or Re-pack As Necessary
Lubricate Bearings And Sleeve
Disassemble Drag Assembly
Inspect Drag Washers
Replace or Re-pack As Necessary
Lubricate Drag Assembly
Inspect Clicker Assembly
Replace or Re-Lube As Necessary
Clean Rotor Inside and Out (spin)
Lubricate Main Shaft Of Rotor (spin)
Clean Inside Cover (spin)
Attach Cover
Oil Gear Housing Plate Screw Holes
Attach Gear Housing Plates
Oil Crank Shaft
Attach Handle

Oil Reservoir Ports
Oil Clicker Assembly
Oil Drag Knob
Oil Level-Wind Worm Gear (if applicable)
Oil Bar Arm Pivots and Rollers (if applicable)
Oil Reel Handle
Spray Exterior With WD-40
Store

Wipe Off Excess WD-40
Replenish Line
Set Drag
